Foyle Beach Hut Shop: Seamus’s Beach Hut

Foyle Beach Hut Shop is a contemporary café and retail space located in a distinctive coastal setting on the shores of Lough Foyle. Designed by Usonia Architects, the project combines a simple modern architectural form with robust materials selected to respond to the exposed marine environment. Large areas of glazing connect the café interior with its waterfront setting, while natural timber cladding gives the building a warm character appropriate to its coastal location.

The Foyle Beach Hut Shop demonstrates how thoughtful commercial architecture can combine practical requirements with a strong sense of place. Designed by Usonia Architects Ltd, the project creates a distinctive café and retail environment that responds to its prominent setting on the shores of Lough Foyle.

The design brings together the building, interior layout, materials and customer experience to create a welcoming and recognisable destination.
